"Who do you think you are?".. might be a common negative reaction received when you clash with personalities who dissent on issues you raise and just dislike you without provocation.

They have no clue that you have indeed come a long way. Do not wait for anybody to make you feel special or appreciate you before you know your worth. We are special in our own rights.

There are good people who committed errors in their line of duty. This somehow affected their results and life begun to spiral  in a downward motion. For some, it marked the onset of a weak self esteem when faced with issues of life. At this point many contemplation arises. For the dejected and stigmatized, suicide becomes an option. What more is left to recover?

Look, let me prove the greatness in every single person who had stepped their foot on this earth.

Biology teaches that, an egg is fertilized by a spermatozoon to form a zygote. This then grows into a baby with identifiable features and finally born..

It's a fact that millions of sperms are released before conception. This scene is analogous to the famous Accra Milo marathon organised each year in Accra-Ghana with thousands starting the race but ending with a winner who finishes the race quickest. When the sperm cells touches the female aperture en route to meet the egg which is released from the fallopian tube, it is more than any marathon you can think of.

Think about it, out of the millions of sperm cells released and rushing wildly as if in a sudden mass panic to meet the egg, you, i mean YOU, came out first to fuse the only egg. That shows and proves that a champion fought and braved all odds to grow into who you are today. I always wonder how many of you (as a spermatozoon) dodged those contraception effects to still hit the finish line. Amazing.

If anyone says your birth is a mistake, know this for sure, that person is a loser admitting YOU still came out first despite their hindrances.

If people around you don't want you, do not force yourself to be accepted. Just like the spermatozoon, forge your way ahead using those same skills you applied to reach the egg in the womb to win.

It didn't come on a silver platter but YOU're still a born winner by all standards.

Make it elegant BUT not to overimpress.

Its a time to wine and dine for some invitees. Some just appear to show solidarity for that friend, colleague or loved one while some are just there to intimidate and catch attention with their choice of dress. And lest you forget, gate crushers will always be around as well as persons specializing in photobombing.

It is an occasion for joy, merry making, public profession of what has been blessed etc etc. As much as its seems to just be an event, it ought to be memorable but most importantly the life journey just began and thus you have to work it out to make it successful.

Lets zoom in on how to make that event memorable. Whether its a birthday, wedding or a ceremonial gathering, remember to always plan and spend within your budget. Never and never use another persons event as a yard stick to plan yours. No one would really care about your present state after the glamorous event you organised the previous Saturday for family and guests including them.

One thing I have observed is, no matter how meticulous you put things together to make the event beautiful, someone somewhere will pass a complaint. This does not mean you should shabbily organise the event and tell yourself 'who cares'. Dont forget its your event and it will sit with you for the rest of your life. So no matter how small it is planned, spice it up and let the moment captured be relived year after year.

Whatever the apparatus chosen to make this event loved by your spouse-to-be, bring it on. Get that  bouquet, get the hostesses, secure a great venue, bring in sound, get the best photo and videographers because you might get the shock of your life when the final pictures are brought to you after the event, You can not turn back the hands of time to correct it so plan.

Just make it simple but elegant.

There is always a BETTER WAY.

There is a way that seems very right to a man but many a time it only leads them astray and into danger when there is the absence of superior discernment.

Cognate subjects like physics and basic mathematics, brings us to conclusions that variation of an element could lead us to arrive at the same constant. Take for example, adding one plus five gives us six and adding three to three also gives us six. We could go further by adding two to four and still arrive at six, not forgetting zero plus six also gives us six.

Now the question is,which of the above is the prudent way or which of the above follows the prescribed order? All are correct without any imposition of a specified approach.

Its easier to select the very right answer if for instance we are asked to only provided odd numbers that add up to six. From the above, we can confidently say there are two correct answers based on the given condition (1+5=6 and 3+3=6)

In summary, the approach in arriving at a result is as important as the expected end product. A biblical example that best suits this narrative is that of Moses and the rock. There was a specific instruction to SPEAK to the rock to produce water and not STRIKE the rock (reference Numbers 20:7-12). The consequences for such an action was grave even though water still gushed out of the rock.

In today's world, many look around and see that they are grinding at a pace of an amoeba when they should have been miles ahead in reaching their given goal. Some common elements that influence individual performance in arriving at a constant could include laziness, grace, procrastination, spirituality, attitude, creativity, ingenuity, sleep and many more. Vary these elements in an equation and they would either lengthen or shorten the route to achievement of your goal which is the constant.

If you are already carrying some of these elements, its not too late to delete them from your being. Revise the order and consciously stick to the prescribed route to achieving that goal.

There is a always better way to achieve a goal and it all depends on your choices, Choose right.

What MONEY can do.

Money has the ability to impact an individual positively or negatively not by its own will but with the one it rests with. Our understanding of money is usually in terms of physical cash; legal tender of any currency (Cedi, Dollar, Euro, CFA, Naira etc.).

Without a doubt, the handler of a considerable amount of any currency wields influential power of a sort and the best part of it is it amplifies the character of the handler. It also informs us on who really is in control of affairs, the money or the handler.

An online definition of money is anything  of value that serves as a medium of exchange. We would thus be limiting ourselves when we think of money only in terms of cash.

I know of a great man who defined money as anything that has purchasing power.

Things that also have purchasing power include favor, faith, grace and authority. This makes enough sense when you consider happenings in the great Book which is replete with several examples pertaining to this.

Obviously there are certain things that require money and there also are things that money of any currency cannot buy. You need a suitable purchasing power to make things happen.

Have you encountered a situation that required money which was not available immediately and favor settled that? Or have you experienced a situation where faith was used to call forth the desired money for a project?

I have witnessed that and many more. 

You don't have physical cash now?? Just activate the code using the right purchasing power. Its not an experience to be enjoyed by a few but by all who are willing to activate the codes listed above.

BREAKOUT of your COMFORT zone

A comfort zone is a beautiful place to live in but remember that, nothing grows there. How true and deep a statement this is.

Imagine the egg of an eagle mistakenly mixed up with those laid by a hen and ultimately hatches, the obvious would happen. The eaglet would of a programming behave and become like a chick even though its natural habitat and makeup is above and superior to the chickens.

The moment of liberation only comes when that growing eaglet comes to a point of actuality on what it can do and where it really ought to be. What would be the point of growing strong wings and not be able to glide or fly above the clouds, or possessing sharp talons and claws and use them to feast on corn and gari when in the eagles world, tastier and exotic prey can be sought whenever the desire wells up?

Any person remaining in their comfort zone has consciously done so by CHOICE. Yes.

A thousand and one excuses would not suffice any valid justification to maintain an unpleasant status quo. When you know who your Manufacturer really is, you would have no doubt of His wisdom and surety in molding you as failure proof.

Do you want to remain a chicken or do you want to rise up to the level spoken of you in the greatest Manual?

Your current location should not determine your final destination. BREAKOUT.

STOP the "SUFFER SUFFER"

I chanced upon a cartoon video today but was quite loaded with a positive message for every person regardless of their age.

It was a video about a carpenter who had closed from work, turned off all the inside light and locked up his shop. At night, a hungry snake slithered from the nearby bush to the entrance of the carpenters shop. Finding a narrow crevice in the wall of the shop, it entered and welcomed itself hoping to find food to eat. In the shop, the snake moved over storage wood, working benches and looked under objects to find food. 

Through this action of moving from corner to corner, the snake accidentally bumped into a carpentry hand-saw with a jagged edge blade and wounded itself.

The snake without hesitation turned swiftly and took a deep bite at the carpentry object out of anger and thus injuring its mouth. (What could a bite do to a metallic object anyway?)

This feeling upset the snake more and out of fury and driven into a mood of revenge, attacked the hand-saw by coiling itself around this tool in a bid to strangle it. Of cause it got worse.

Early the next morning, the carpenter reopened his shop to only realize a dead snake on the ground coiled around the hand-saw.

The snake died not due to the carpenters fault nor any persons fault BUT rather due to its uncontrolled anger and revengeful attitude.

Question; is it always vital to respond to everything that offends us? 

Stop. Take a deep breath & evaluate.

We have gotten angry in our lives one way or the another. Many a time, this has resulted in affecting our mood negatively, having a direct consequence on health, clouding the mind & judgement, hurting ourselves, impacting  adversely on those who offended us, affecting persons that had nothing to do with the situation in the first place etc etc.

Make good of every situation and cultivate the habit of keeping a merry countenance regardless of the situation. Remember, its for your own well-being.

Quit renting part of your mind and soul to tenants such as anger, revenge and their siblings.
